For my 1st Line I am thinking about a Crye Low Profile or High Back Belt. I'd like to know what Model you own and why did you choose it? I will not run Armor in the Belt.
Thanks

I'd like opinions as well, I'm contemplating which one I would prefer. My brother had a high back one for a week or so then he sold it. It was a medium and I sure as hell am not a medium, but we made it fit. If the molle wrapped all the way around me like it should have I would have bought it off him.

If you don't need armor and thus the additional protection of the high back belt I see no reason choosing it over the low profile belt. It doesn't even feature molle on the sides unless you add the side sleeves making it even bulkier.

I ran the low version for a while back, extremely comfortable. If you're running armor(I wasn't) then the high cut would be the one to choose.

Crye Low Profile, that said, unless you are running armor!

Besides the comments about armor inside the belt, if you're running a type of vest or plate carrier then it could very likely interfere with the high back of the belt. That could become a big pain in the ass really quickly.

I have both. The high back does not hit the AVS, CPC or chassis. As Seraph said the high back doesn't have molle all the way around. The low does. They both feel basically the same. If no armor then go with the low.

Beware with those Crye belts, great stuff but they run small IMO.

I am a slim dude and wear size 30 Crye pants, and small BDU pants. I own a medium Crye blast belt, and it is almost too small for my liking. I feel a large fits better on me in term of MOLLE coverage.

Try one before if you can.

From my experience Crye vests run one size larger and their belts one size smaller. I would like to see the guy who serves as model for their tailor

I had a large size Crye low profile with armour which was pretty comfy. Not a lot of room for all the pouches I wanted though so I sold it on.
If I was getting another belt with arnour I'd go high back I think.
Also, as others have said, I found it a little small. Closer to a medium than a large.
