Some of the things we made throughout the years.

First one is an old (did 9-10 yrs ago) piece of gear, a padded belt.
Basic design came from the removable waist belt of EI's Becker Patrol Pack (which was used some of my buddies as a duty belt) except the lack of velcros and the fact that our one is made of 1000D Cordura on both sides (mesh or coolmax material was unavailable here at that time). It has ALICE webbing (made of safety belt material as I remember) and padded with 10 mm thick closed cell foam.

Another project, pocket organizer, designed to fit into the cargo pockets of 'tactical' pants (5.11, BH!, Woolrich etc.). I carry my EDC 'survival' kit in it.
Material: I don't know, some kind of nylon, maybe 5-600D, but very cheap (~3 $/m, 1,5 m wide).

One of the recent things we've done: a carrier for my lvl 4 armor plates, inspired mostly by BH!'s low-vis plate carrier.
On the outside the same material as below, and a slightly thinner, softer inside.

And an offtopic project, inner liner for the helmet storage compartment of my Paiggio scooter :D

What's the fabric? Europe style 600D PES? PVC or PUR coating?

I don't know, I bought it at a wholesaler usually deals with material for awnings and things like that.
But next time I go there, I'll ask for the specifications of it!

Today just found one of our old projects, from about 10 years ago:
shoulder pad for my EI TAC-V1-N vest. Since I'm shooting long guns from the left shoulder, the first aid kit/compass pouch was very uncomfortable, so we removed the pouch and replaced it with a pad constructed of...well, I can't remember the material of the base layer and the lining, only the outer shell which is velour.
Today I would solve the problem differently, but what can I do now :D

Not really 'tactical' stuff, but I made it :D
It's something like a G-clip for EDC fixed blades (on the pic it's attached to my Strider DB's holster). Designed to hold the knife on the belt at ~60° angle, made of 2 mm thick black kydex.

Our newest project, transport pouch for my G17.
Made from the same material as the former things, lined with 10 mm closed-cell foam on the weapon side and 5 mm foam on the other side.

Today I was at the store where I buy the things for the projects and asked about the specs of the materials we use.
The thicker one is called N/600D KODRA, made of PU (polyurethane), weights 390 grams/square meter. The other (thinner) material is N/420D KODRA and it is ~10% more expensive than the 600D, which is quite funny, I think. Both of them is made by the same company in South Korea, but I forgot to write down the name of it (I know Image).

The last two projects and the first two things, I sew with machine (with the help of Granny, of course), both of them are very, very tacticool stuff
Muffs for the scooter:

600D material with fleece lining on the sides reinforced with 1 mm polystyrene insert.
Minimalist wallet:

Also 600D with some kind of polyester(?) lining.

If you were living in a country, where the average pay per hour is the same as the price of one liter of gas, probably you would also consider of choosing some more economic way of transport than a 5,7 litre V8 monster...
