Got my hands on some wood and went to work with this as inspiration http://www.itstactical.com/intellicom/diy/how-to-build-a-tactical-gear-stand/

Image

Took about 40 min to make and only a handful of tools and screws.

So easy to if you're looking to find a solid way to store that PC of yours in a display kind of manner.

Used way thinner material than the ITS tact. did, and only one bar for the shoulders. Holds the weight just fine.

Measurements were about:
135cm frame
30cm feet
40cm shoulderbar

Can't remember the thickness of the wood, but you can see it in the pic.

Cheers

Nice idea...

There should be a "gear room" thread :D

There's a thread named 'Show Us Your Weaponcase/Storage Solution', I guess a gear room could be one of your storage solutions:

Like the kit rack btw :)
But would take up some place when you have multiple PCs

Many guys built these and used them in Afghanistan (yeah ok, we payed the afghans to build them) so you did'nt have to chase out little creatures from your kit everyday.

I got nostalgic now, need to build one of these!
Yours looks great Mac!
