So I started learning to sew. Here's my first chest rig. Learned a lot of lessons during this project. You can probably see the mistakes in this one. Visualizing the pouch and knowing the sequence of steps is tough.

It has molle on the back to use malice clips if you wanted to attach it as a mag pouch. I put some elastic on the bottom for a CAT-TQ or you could run rubber bands on the sides.

Pouch is approximately 6" tall x 12" across x1" deep

Oh ya, multicam litelock is a bitch to sew.

Looks pretty clean man, good job. I am more jelly of that pack though, you snagged that right before I could claim it.

Thanks. Ya, that pack is pretty sweet. :D

If there's any gear builders peeping this, on the sides where I sewed the corner of the pouch (making a smaller than 1in loop), could I just NOT sew that? And let the webbing roll around the edge? Or is that no bueno? I feel like it would be super loose but I want to have a full inch of webbing on the sides for a TQ.

id say leave the webbing on the side like you did, but maybe give it some slack where it looks like a loop before sewing the end. whatever you need to do to make it big enough for a malice clip, or a chem light, flex cuff, BFG TQ now, etc. therefore its not wasted realty.

i was thinking of only doing 6 columns of molle across the front and then using 2x 1 inch elastic loops sandwiched in the seem (above and below the SRB loops), not sewn like the molle in the pictures.
