Isnt the 6094 UW pretty much what you guys described? Clean-ish front with integrated admin pouch and molle flap?

It's not really slick, more covered in webbing. I think if it didn't have the cummerbund it would be closer.

isn't adding molle to a slick kinda defeating the slick?

and then like simpen said, if you swap the cummerbund on a UW to a skeleton like one, then you'd have a similar setup as the custom right except the molle would go to the ends of the flap...

Molle on the flap hardly makes it less slick.

This. Absolutely this.

As the situation is, LBT are selling up to three versions of the same rig to the very same people.
If they combine them all into one super-rig, they will essentially be cutting their income by 66%.

Indeed. Adding pouches to a slick makes it less slick (i.e. every JPC ever).

lol! I'm glad I'm not the only one that noticed everyone with a JPC had the molle-compulsive-disorder.

Knocked out some shoulder pads today - modified LBT2020A style, with two routing points instead of one. Padding is 3mm neoprene folded over, for 6mm of padding. Just as comfortable as the stock pads, if not a little more. Woodlands are mine, multicam is the original LBT model. Thoughts?

*edit - as an aside, this project has made me realize how crappily sewn most of LBT's commercial stuff is. I don't know if there are two production lines, but their commercially sold stuff versus their contract stuff (either issued to me or purchased) is definitely less loved. It's like Eagle's Puerto Rican and Dominican stuff - uneven lines, poorly finished, etc.

A little bit - not too much. I'm going down to JRTC here in a few for a short while so once I get back I'll be all spun up again.

Just looked through this tread and your stuff is pretty amazing. I agree with what everyone has said, your mods significantly improve on the 6094 slick, and I never liked the light "cheap" feeling of the JPC not to mention a buddy of mine had a shoulder strap failure on his JPC.

Please let us know when you get back from Louisiana, as I would like to have some work done similar to what you have posted on this tread.
