Started making K9 leashes and collars, more to follow as I take pictures of new orders. I've had a couple being tested since early December with a K9 team here. I sell them on eBay or through Facebook. This is a 6' K9 leash with a control loop and velcro for the dog's name tape.

Upcoming projects include a dog harness w/ MOLLE (to hold the MWD/K9's Class 1 and Class 8) which is currently in prototyping/testing and warming panels for the harness that use a 9v battery to keep the MWD/K9 warm while we're bundled up in layers.

The best choices I've had when it came to nylon leads were tubular nylon. Much more comfortable and safer on the skin. Leather is hard to beat but tubular was a good competitor

Yep, that's what I use. I used to use the woven stuff but it's pretty abrasive on the K9's necks. All K9 items use tubular nylon whenever possible.

Here're some dog collars, I made these to replace my dogs' collars. They adjust up to 16" in diameter. Metal d-ring and ITW side-release buckle. Again, tubular nylon.

Made one for my cat, but she's having none of it.

Yep, same stuff I use. It's just printed in multicam.

I think there is a disconnect here. Either those pics are the most misleading pics ever or they aren't an accurate representation. Joe is spot on with the tubular train.

I guarantee you that it's printed tubular nylon. If I'm telling you it's tubular nylon webbing, it's tubular nylon webbing. The webbing lies flat.

Put this together for a friend:

Original USGI buttpack, USGI strobe pouch, and USGI Fast-Tex repair buckles from '04. I also added an elastic draw band to the inside waterproof compartment to help keep the insides less wet.

Modded a 6094B slick plate carrier with a kangaroo pouch and MOLLE webbing on the front, plus a JPC-style cummerbund.

Very nice. Molle on the cummerbund flap is the only thing keeping the slick from being a great standalone rig.

Fish - 100% agree. This is the second slick I've modified for myself, and I asked LBT directly (their custom shop) as to why this wasn't standard. I think it would be one of the best carriers out there if it was, definitely a solid option vice a JPC (and cheaper to boot!). I was told that there's not enough interest.

Techno - thanks, it turned out a lot better than I envisioned it. I need to replace my sewing machine though, this one isn't able to handle the heavy duty thread anymore so I'm using #70 polyester thread. No issues with it holding up, my other 6094 has been to the field and ranges a couple of times without issues, but I want to be able to use the MIL-standard.

I think the real problem wouldn't be not enough interest in the extra 3 dollars in materials and 15 minutes of work, it would be that the slick would be a solid competitor against the full 6094A.
