Most of the rangers i know used modified med Alice packs..its a tried a true piece of equipment and now a days there are some gear companys that do premodded packs. I love my alice..stupid army went to the large molle ruck, personally i think its way too big and heavy..Tactical Tailor has quite a few options..check them out!

Army_IA06 if you here on Ft. Bragg, or ever come this way, we have General Jackson just outside the gate on Yadkin Rd, and they sell Malice packs. Or you could get your Alice pack upgraded anyway you want. btw love Gen Jacksons as a they have more in than in the PX, and a lot is cheaper too.

The Tactical Tailor MALICE pack is very interesting but at 230USD its a bit pricey. Anybody know where I can get hold of one at a reasonable price ? No luck on ebay :(

I have one of those TT MALICE packs and I think they are definitely worth the buck, they are well made and very comfortable as long as you pack them right.

Buy a regular large ALICE pack and have it modded. As long as you don't have too much done you will be well below $230.
