Hi folks,

I recently discovered the MR Hitchiker Pack(never checked out the Accesooiry Page befor) and wonderer wether anybody has some pictures from the insight, worn and/or any infos and opinions on this pack...

I'm thinking about using it as an assault-/daypack, maybe modded with Kifarus X-Ray Shoulder Straps.

thanks in advance

Well it's the average 3-zip design, but this is made to compress over existing packs (hence its design for the COMMS packs). There's two fiberglass bars on either side to keep it rigid. I dont know how comfy it'll be to use standalone unless the rig some sort of frame to it.

Thanks for the information about the fiberglass bars, didn't now that yet. Where are the located?

I was thinking about sliding a cut folding pad in the compartment for the Shoulder Straps, as some sort of padding.

Can you tell me something about the interior? Any pouches or something, like in the S.A.T.L.?

The fiberglass bars are at the outer sides of the back.

As for the inside, it's similar to the 3DAP (all the MR 3-zip bags follow a similar design) with a small MOLLE panel centered and on either side are sleeves top to bottom, and likely a zippered pocket.
