Hey guy´s.

Does anyone know when Rangers actually used the SDS RACK.
I have been trying to find pics and a good info site but no luck.

The first thing that poped in my head was BHD, but they use LC2 gear.

Early 2000s too. There are some pictures from early Afghanistan showing them wearing it. One of my old PSGs was with 3/75 (I think) and was wearing it up until 2005 or so (when the Army switched to ACUs).

My RACK vest (I got it with the FSBE I stuff) has 98 date if I remember correctly. It was made out of Woodland Cordura same as in first MOLLE I batches.

Hey didn't want to open a new thread -

I picked up a woodland SDS RACK with black buckles dated 2002. The construction isn't that great but it seems like a viable chest rig and decent piece of gear. Is there any value in these older models?

value as in collectors? not really. They are fairly common and you can still pick them up used for cheap.

Those made for FSBE/RACK original contract have collectors value.

Do you mean RACKs made by SPP?

Yes, SPP but with contracts on tags DAAK60-97-D-9302 (RACK) or DAAD16-00-C-9231 (FSBE)

For example SDS RACK costs about $25-$30 in Czech Republic, EU.
