Most illustrious gentlemen,

I come to you with a question. I am not particularily well versed in all the US gear and who uses what, although I've got a fairly decent overlook. However, on this question both my google-fu and gearsoc-search-fu has failed me.

Has there been any other use of the RRV than among the 75th Rangers? If yes, has it been issued in larger numbers or mainly used by cool guys who may use whatever they please?

Thanks for you help,
magicbrou

It's probably one of the most common rigs in USSOCOM... How hard did you look?

It's issued, in one color or the other and in varying timeframes, in USASOC, MARSOC and NAVSPECWARCOM as well as USMC Recon bats.

By varying colors, I mean coyote brown, khaki, ranger green, AOR1, AOR2, MultiCam and probably a couple experimental ones.

And that's only talking about those that got it issued, not counting others that may have acquired it personally.

You could buy the RRV at AFFES for 75$, which meant anyone the armed forces could have used it.
