I got the Eagle manual for the Aero from Eagle Industries and uploaded it to Scribd. The link is HERE
, and I added it to the first page.
Several things I learned:
-The front of the vest is contoured as such to seamlessly hide a quick-release pull (pillow style).
-The cummerbund has a tucked-in quick release flap.
-I have a cummerbund model not on catalog, but it's closest to the JTAC model.
-The load lifter has an optional Quick-Release for use with the vest's Quick Release feature. I don't have this, but I'm not concerned about that.
-The load lifter is universally sized - the 'shoulder' brace (outer layer) comes off and has two different cutout sizes to swap between based on vest sizing.
-The vest is offered in Multicam, Coyote, AOR1, AOR2, and black.
I already have some 1/4" quick release cable sitting around and the dimensions for the parts of the quick release system that I'm lacking. After Thanksgiving holiday I'm going to make my own quick release cable and tri-glide extenders and implement the quick release feature.
I'm waiting for a price quote on some of the optional accessories. I hope this is informative, since Eagle has yet to upload it to their website.
