Need your help guys.

I got the 6004 SLS and want it also as a mid-ride option with no drop leg of course, but with a option to swich back at any given moment.
So modularity is what I'm looking for.

This is what I'm going for:

Image

My first option is the 6075 UBL + the QLS system, but I can't find a shop that sells the QLS platform in TAN anywhere.
Any idea on this ?
Second option is the G Code RTI kit with the RTI belt slide but the problem with that is as far as I can tell, the holster would ride to high up, so the grip would be above the duty belt.

What's a better solution from the two above ?

Thanks in advance

About the G-code one, you sure you looked up this one?

Because I have it and the pistol's grip sits just good not above the duty belt

I use the Safariland QLS and love it.

As far as there not being any in tan...spray paint it.

SS> Yeah, I have the RTI in mind, but tought it would ride to high up.
Thanks for clearing that.

Danneskjold> I'm leaning forward to QLS, true spray is a good solution for the problem if I don't find it in tan.
Anybody have any idea where to get it in tan though ?

From a safety stand point, having used both systems I loved the RTI system, especially the interfaces, much more profiled and "tailorable" than QLS/MLS.
However, RTI is not as robust as Safariland (maybe they changed the wheel material though).
So if you intend to use it for active duty, I'd suggest you go with QLS (or MLS if snag hazard is a concern)

Thanks for the input jack.
Judging from the looks of both systems, RTI seemd more sturdier to me.

QLS it is then,
Thanks again

You can get the QLS in FDE/tan from holsterops.com. Ive placed a couple orders from that website and they are good to do business with.

The QLS is a great system, Im personally a big fan of it.

Not to steer this thread off topic, but has anyone seen Safariland UBLs in FDE for sale anywhere? Apparently they are a new thing Safariland is making and Ive seen pictures of them in use but I cant find them for sale anywhere.

Thanks JK, that's helpful since Safariland blew me off for direct orders.

JKinnaird> They have the UBLs in FDE on the same site you linked to.

Does the FDE option on that product refer to both the UBL and the QLS receiver plate? I was under the impression it only applied to the QLS plate and the UBL was still black.

Don't know if they changed anything, but the UBL used to always be in black with the QLS plate in FDE.

There were a couple FDE UBL pieces floating around for a bit.Safariland made some under contract, along with some UBL's in foliage green for the Army.

Hopefully it isn't too off topic, but what is the model name of that safariland holster pictured in the original post? It is obviously an ALS type, but it doesn't appear to be the 6377 or the 6354DO so I'm a little confused. Any help would be appreciated.

Edit: think I found it 6390 or more likely the 6354 modified with a ubl since it is in FDE and has a light.

Could be any duty or tactical ALS holster out there, 6390, 6395, 6354 or even those offset OMV versions (6384 I think?) that ride better on MLS/QLS plateforms.
Any of these can be obtained with a light and the FDE finish using the proper code (54 or 55, can't remember which is which), and then modified with a 2" drop, 2" belt slot UBL and QLS...
