Was given a bunch of these pouches a while back by a friend, and I'm still wondering what/why exactly they were made for.
Fully padded, buckles all show dates from the early 90s. Some were modified to be worn as thigh rig. Size is approx. of a 200rd SAW.

My best guess would be Nods OEM pouches, so probably ANVIS considering their age, but I'm still trying to figure out if they were basic storage options or if they were meant for more than that (ie actual field carry).
