Hello. Im curious about where SEALs usually keeps their water bottle. Atm im running a lbt 1961 and a 3 day backpack. Amy ideas of where to keep the bottle? I could keep it in the sack but want it to be easily reachable and in the rig there is not really any space for it. Any ideas or how do the tough guys do? Or do they even carry bottles with them nowdays?

Hydration bladder. I've also seen phots where the guys are just carrying water bottles in pockets on their combat pants.

Here's some phots where you can see where they're carrying them:

Dump pouch is a good spot. Bottles in the cargo pocket suck for any real length of time.

If you don't use two radios you can run one in one of the radio pouches.

I believe that Hydration bladder / Camelback is the best way.

Throw a hydro bladder in the ruck along with a couple spare bottles, and you're set.

For underway or helo ops, most of my guys used nalgene crush resistant bottles on carabiners secured with bungees to any molle accessible looping. We ran some river operations with SWCC individuals and supporters of the big boys (NSW).
