ATS? http://www.optactical.com/atsmeposm.html

Rip cord can be tucked away and even in the case of a snag the flap and buckle can act as a safeguard

ATS. Without a doubt. I've been running it this deployment and it is miles better than any other IFAK pouch I've used yet.

I'm also a fan of the ATS IFAK, been running one for a couple of years and have nothing but good things to say about it.

I've been eyeballing the CTOMS for a while too...

What do you want to load your IFAK with?
From the city LE perspective, I've been thinking about keeping it minimalist: Tourniquet, Combat Gauze, dressing, scisors, that's about it...
In that case, those low profile IFAK (SOTECH, CTOMS, ATS) are plenty enough...

yeah, pretty minimal. I have a full blown med pack in my unit, but to have an at hand individual, plug a hole, kit is what I'm looking for. and that ctoms might be just it.

I'm using the ATS ifak as well :)

I think it's very nice, compact and easy to use.

Good call. For reference, here's mine as I currently am using it:

I've got more than a standard IFAK pouch and it's still more compact.
Contents:
-Gloves
-Curlex
-Gauze
-Israeli Bandage
-Bandage
-NCD Pen
-SOF-T
-Nasal Tube
-Medical Tape

I keep scissors behind the IFAK, but some douchenugget stole them while my vest was set down.

I have it and it's 2nd to none.

and the bigger bro

Managed to squeeze an entire issued IFAK into the compact one and on the sides I got the EMT shears + CAT.

I like the CTOMS slimline... but I think it is pretty expensive! The fitment is inspired but the release and clip is a little over engineered I guess.

If anyone fancies helping me get a CTOMs multicam slimline to the UK cheap I'm all ears!!!

I toying with an ITS ETA trauma kit-Tallboy at the moment.
