Indeed, that is why this caught my eye. I am wondering if this is the base for a new generation of armor carriers.

I wanted to chime in here in response to what has been said regarding my design and its similarity to FS. I’ve had these thoughts grinding in my head for a while and it basicly bottles down to an impulse, saturday morning experiment in seeing how basic, stripped down and light weight I could make a carrier.

I dont want to compare the rough 6 hours I put in to my platecarrier with the year of development that First Spear put in to it. The two systems are completely different, and developed with different purposes in mind and for different reasons.

It does look pretty slick. Hope it saves my fingers from getting red because of all that weaving I do for my molle pouches.

I'm personally more interested in the Tubes. Don't know about the durability just now, but it is a pain to adjust my EPC cummerbund right everytime I have to put it on and that looks like a great solution. Hope companies could just use those and don't have to make a quick-release version of their PCs and raise another $50 for its price

That's an interesting concept. I wonder how well it would hold up, compared to traditional MOLLE?

I can't quite wrap my head around the attachment system. He demonstrates with the swatch of fabric that you must actually attach the velcro on the reverse side. Does this mean you're going to have to access your plate pocket in order to attach every pouch? Seems like there will be a good amount of trial and error involved.

Guys,

We are working on another video to show the attachment process in more detail, but it probably won't be posted until after Marine West. The system does require access to the back of the fabric to mount. It is certainly faster than MOLLE, however, it was not designed to be a "quick' attach system. It's primary benefits are: reduced profile, reduced weight, lower visibility, and improved signature management.

Thanks,
FS
