So apparently Paraclete founder's non-compete clause expired and he went back to doing what he's best at. I'm sure it's a matter of time before CAG abandons Crye and goes back to its roots. ;)

Also, AFAIK this is the only place in the world where you can snag an AOR1 HPC for $120.

It wouldn't hurt them to try out a few new designs.. And maybe some lighter weight materials.

Yup as GHL stated, there are a lot of paraclete pouches in bragg, all in multicam with the new murdock printed webbing. Some of them are also made in 500D cordura.

Actually paraclete has/had aor1 carriers.

XPX has been around for a while, they have a youtube video that shows some kind of 1961/ rhodie'ish vest during production. I've never handled any of their products but given their paraclete and js industries lineage it must be solid construction / design.

I was wondering when their site would have some real products on it.

That plate carrier is tempting.

On their website, in the colour drop down box, it says 'call for custom colors!'.

Yeah I know, I figured it was better to ask if someone had already done that before calling; phone calls from the other side of the Atlantic are usually a bit expensive.

Guess I'll just send them an email.

Has anyone pulled the trigger on one of these carriers yet? I guess I could just drop by since I live here.

Could you elaborate? Are they using Paraclete (Pointblank) now or were you referring to CAG abandoning Crye for something else?

Both. There's not one single supplier for the myriad of equipments used by such units.

Looks like one of their vests in use. Cummerbund has me confused though.
