Hi, I'm new to the forums. Since Navy EOD operators are emebeded with SEAL units, would it be realistic to see them in a JPC or an AOR1 6094 like the SEAL's are issued?

As far as I know, Navy EOD has been issued with varies plate carrier. Recently, I have seen them with 6094 in CB and AOR. As we above Ciras mar in Khaki and CB too. Big possibility other new hype pc like cage, jpc etc either by personal purchase or their logistic too.

Unfortunately I can't name names but the story of the man on the right needs to be read about. Both men in the photo are Navy EOD techs.

As already mentioned Navy EOD has been issued with varies type of plate carrier. the CP gucci gear is either personal purchase or logistic I assume....

On top of my head:

MARCIRAS in CB, KH color, check.
LBT-6094 style carriers in CB, MC, AOR1 color, check.
CP JPC MC color,check.
CP CPC MC color, check.

There are photos floating around.

Where can information be found to read about his story? Post it on here, or PM it to me if you may. I am interested in reading it.

Surely it's not a great idea to visibly carry a flag on you? Put it in a pouch if you need to carry a flag. All slip dip in their multicam with a big red/white/blue flag to make sure they stick out like a sore thumb for the enemy... I think Yanks are needlessly over-patriotic sometimes.

Whilst its nice to know that the New York Yankees can be over patriotic (see what I did there?), there is some sentimental value as to why those EOD techs would be carrying those flags.
