It's very interesting and I have 2 questions to people who knows. 1: Does Navy EOD wear vest in khaki? 2. Does Navy EOD wear LBT 6094?)

Yes on Khaki. .308 is a valuable caliber to have in your tool box as EOD.

In the simplest of terms, shooting stuff. It is more portable than .50 cal anything.

Why do you say that D-Fuze? Not arguing, just curious as I am only playing devils advocate as to why they have it aside from the fact that those guys are probably attached to NSW and therefore engaging dudes with them too.

Edit: I tried to check your profile before the previous posting but didn't think to check random posts of yours. Had I known you were EOD I would have taken it to pm's. PM inbound.

As a caveat I am still in school and only know what I have been told or taught by my instructors.

What else are you looking for about Navy? We have some Navy guys in my class and I may be able to get you answers.

Several years ago it was commonplace for USAF EOD at the larger bombing ranges to have a couple of M14s in the armory mainly for use against dudded submunitions on the range. The use of SMUD (Standoff Munitions Disruption) was practiced throughout the services. But for combat ops, the M4 series reigns supreme. And since this a picture thread and we can't let the squids have all the fun:

Mystery Ranch, Kelty, and I would assume LBT among many others.

If they had them, and wanted to use them, no one would say no.

Seriously, there is no need to quote the post directly above your own. Any person with a normal mental capacity should be able to realize who you are adressing.

Thanx))
