I get the personal preference thing. However it just looks unprobable to me that none of those guys would wear the airflex on a CQB/DA role per individual choice.

I agree with you Conker, a handful of them look like they may be wearing field pads slipped under the knee flaps. Still looks weird though... oh well...

Some more of TAG-East during the G20 build up. Personally, MC simply doesn't have the same impact that ''black kit'' does for a CT role.

Great photos of the old school kit... Quite interesting to see they've "ditched" the Black kit for "Multicam"... Wondering if that photo in the cabin was inside the Emu Airlines mockup.

TAG Black Kit. Does anyone have any info on the makers/model of the vests, etc. used?
What are the black pouch kits added to the thigh straps of the pistol holster? They seem to appear in most TAG shots.

The Black kit was made by several Australian manufacturers and is often seen for sale on ebay.au
The pistol holster side of the leg straps had a small pouch on the front and elastic loops ….most guys used to run 12 gauge rounds in them if (carried) or sometimes Chem lights. The pouch was generally used to carry a strobe. I)

Yep thats the one !! Assault body armour its was cut higher to allow better mobility and also allow clearance for our drop leg holsters etc. We used to velcro our panels on , again there are various configurations of this and operator customs as well :D Most guys preffered to run a medium carriers ….but there were other size options. This body armour with pouch suite was also available in DPCU.

Thanks gentlemen, I appreciate the reply. If any of you have pictures of the individual kit, or even better, any relevant auctions/for sale sites, it would be much appreciated.

Roninrj: If you have any other info on where to purchase those pouch/loop panel mentioned, I'd appreciate it.
