Helmetcam footage:

Helmetcam footage being released to the public is pretty rare, so I figured I should share.

Quote:

These images were filmed with the helmet camera of a Norwegian soldier during a firefight near the deserted village of Qurchi, Faryab-province in Northern Afghanistan.
Follow the battle from the soldier's perspective.

How come its rare?
Are you not allowed to use your own helmet cams?
Or are you just not allowed to upload the videos?

Well, I'm not serving, so I really couldn't tell you.
It just doesn't show up often... It's a fair guess that OPSEC has quite a bit to do with it, but I can't say anything for sure.

Ok, just wondering, since 50% of the Danish combat troops uses helmet cams,
and its kinda up to them self, to determ whats to be shown.

That's definitely not the case for the Norwegian forces, I think we'd see a lot more media coming out of the sandbox if that was the case.
Not even sure private helmetcams are even allowed.
