Thank you, but I know this clip.
Photo shot from the side - it's a new angle for me.

Danish SF - "JGK" - Jægerkorpset

A video from Jægerkorpset's 50 years anniversary showing how a shooter from JGK do the trick.

I understand the argument for open top vehicles but no thank you. Very cool pics regardless of that.

Well I guess it all depends on your preference of doing things, granted I do believe the Danish have up-armoured vehicles for Afghanistan or environments that require them.

On the first picture of your last post, is that an heavily pimped Diemaco/Colt Canada rifle ? Or is the handguard issued as well as the other parts (stock, grip etc).

Tomato, these open top trucks are the equivalent to American style MRAPs.

Chip, those are C8-CQBs that are probably modified by both the Jagerkorpset armourers and Colt Canada (Diemaco). As for which entity added what, I have no clue.

Fish, I meant to say fully enclosed vehicles.

And I said what I meant. These open top vehicles are for the most part used to fill the same role as MRAPs, not as a hmmwv substitute, for several European countries, the Brits included.

The Jackel vehicle pictured above isn't an MRAP-type vehicle. It's essentially a weapons platform with some Mine/IED resistant characteristics. There are still some force protection considerations to think of when operating a Jackel as it doesn't have the same level of protection as an MRAP or similar type vehicle. Also, unlike an MRAP, you can put a couple of Jackels in the back of a C-130 without too many dramas.
