He is a very public figure, and runs his own training company.

Hello, I'm trying to locate a specific picture, which I believe is of USSF. It's recent, a team in a shoothouse, with one guy in ACU uniform with MC helmet and PC. Sound familiar to anyone?

Thanks for any help.

Air Force dudes going through SFAUC.
Image
Dude on the right is wearing a MICH2001 with Ops-Core chinstrap, Crye CAGE in UCP, and some other cool guy stuff. Rifle has a SIR rail in tan with EOTech 552 or 554 and a Surefire M900.

Dude on the left is wearing an RBAV. Note the M4 has a SIR rail on it.

A1 carbine upper with a super-dooper high EOTech. I did a double take when I first saw this.

This is from 2009.

Interesting the guy on the left has a LWH NVG mount and a non-standard chin strap on his ACH. I find that very odd for 2009.

Nothing AFSOC related should be considered odd unless everyone matches.

It just seems kinda old gen for 2009 and I'm surprised to see it. But, really, what the hell do I know!

Now that I think about it some more, I recall a marine buddy of mine telling me how he preferred the LWH NVG bracket on his ACH for added stability. And 2009 is probably before the Opscore H-nape took the SOF community by storm, so that chinstrap was probably better than the standard ACH ones. I deployed in 2009 and so I keep thinking that it wasn't that long ago, but it was 5 years!

What is an "LWH NVG bracket", and how is it different from any other PVS-14 mount?

It's a Rhino NVG bracket with wider rim grabs bent out a bit to fit the brim on a PASGT or Marine Corps Light Weight Helmet (LWH).

TNVC still sells the assembly.

Is it any different from the PASGT mount of ye olde days?
I am very familiar with the PASGT mount, just never heard of it referred to as particularly relevant to the LWH... Then again, I haven't exactly been exposed to marines either.
