Snagged a new Mayflower UW chest rig, love these babies. Only issue is I always feel Im not utilizing the pouches to the best that I can. What does everyone put in theres?
I have the four m4 mags, 2 sig or 1911 single stacks in the center, right now the left gp has a civi radio in it, right one has a red rag and note pad with pen, right pistol/light pouch has a Leatherman MUT, Tornado impact under right arm in radio pouch, surefire under left arm in the pistol/light pouch, bag of bbs or 2 extra pmags in the left radio pouch, CASEVAC 9-line cards in main body slip pouch. Sometimes I swap the tornado to the front right gp and stick a smoke grenade under the right arm. What does everyone else pack in theres, need ideas to optimize mine.
I do plan to get there assault armor carrier to add some Blue Force Gear pouches and have the ability to up armor since I use this for work and play.

Radio pouches: I use one as a radio pouch and the other as extra mag pouch
Small GP: I use the one on the left(from my point of view) as another pistol mag pouch and the other as a multitool pouch.
Mid GP: I put a Israeli dressing in one of them and the other empty for some possible 'General Purpose' use
ETC: You could see the elastic band between the Mid GP and the Small GP, and I use that to hold a CAT. It really works great for holding it but the problem is that the elastic band itself wears off easily.

Anyway, placing the dressing and Tornequite like that saves me space to have to keep another IFAK.

- Do you carry what you need to carry?
- Do you have quick access to everything that is important?

If "Yes" on both, there is no problem here. If "No", then square your shit away, even if that means changing out the entire rig.

That's not the same rig, that's one that MRC did for GTG in Denmark.
