Just received some new Oakley shades, but would love some pointers on what to get next.
Thus, I figured a show us yer eyewear-thread would be a reasonable way to go forward.

Tacticool or not, shades or ballistics, goggles or glasses.
Just please, leave your hipster glasses at the door ;)

Bolle X800, has lost most of it's band's elasticity, are they replaceable or should I just get a new one?

Well balls, the Inmates had a disagreement with the shape of my face, so they're outta here.
Would love to get some advice on similar shades that might be a better fit. And feel free to PM me if anyone want the Inmates.

My best advice would be to try them on in a store (or borrow from someone you know) before you buy glasses. Especially sunglasses which makes you look like an idiot if they don't fit. Also, metal frames are often shaped to fit (with heat) at the sunglass store, which greatly improves the overall fit.

Neither of those are alternatives though, as there's no retailers of the merchandise I want withing reasonable driving distance.

All your glasses are ghey. This is what I and Mr. Don Draper use... :P AO Eyewear Inc.

Also seen on Mr. De Niro in Taxi Driver...

It's a great pain of sunglasses, very stable, good quality, functional, good looking.

Pretty standard, especially for the UK and them being issue kit, but I trust them. Currently looking for some alternatives to the ICE, if only for the fact I can.

Aaaahhh! My topic!
I've got a love for sunglasses... can not have enough

Image

Left-to-right: Oakley flak jacket XLJ (also have clear lenses), Oakley SI M-Frame (also have grey lenses), ESS ICE, ESS Advancer.

I've also got (not on photo) the bolle silium (safetyglasses for work), rayban in the car (although i always use the flak jacket), a cheap brunotti one (:P ) and a few cheapo's for the heck of it. (used to have revision aswell, but i totally prefer oakley more)

still on the wishlist: oakley splinter. does anyone have these? I would like to know a bit more. Oakley fan assisted ballistic goggle. And im still looking for the original aviators!

I've been using ESS Ice and Crossbow, and now I have Oakleys M-Frame 2.0
Like them a lot, and anti-fog system is working great!
(have ESS NVG tan on helmet, but I don't use them so often)

Oakley A-Frame with turbo fan.

Also I have Revision Sawfly - very nice googles.

Now I want something from Oakley like Gascan, Canteen or Fuel glasses

Nice AOs, Nordstrom. I'm thinking about purchasing a pair of Generals with gold frames and green lenses. How do you like the bayonet temples? I'm trying to figure out which temples to get.

Cheers,
Vic
