Moved to the killing grounds since this is a show off thread. The other sections of the forum(protective gear, second line etc) are for asking questions or finding answers.

That thing is straight up pornographic!
How much did the airframe set you back, and how do you like it?

Good to see you on these forums chap. Might drop you a PM about the V-lites later.
What's the reasoning behind the one blue and one Green V-lites?

The lids go for just under a grand right now I think.

As for the colors, I am planning to switch to green on the left and red on the right, but these things are kinda hard to find right now lol. A good friend of mine who is a professional face shooter told me that they are using the vlites like that to show which way they are facing. IE, lots of light facing away from the enemy.

I guess it makes sense too, since if your back is to the enemy, you are doing it wrong

I figured that was the intended function, I was more curious about the choice to use two different colors, rather than i.e. two green ones.
I just might have to get me one of those lids after all :)

Interesting method to display the direction of the individual. Like what hokke said, I think it's red for Port (Left) and Green for Starboard (Right). :D

Lovely lid mighty ! I prefer the Ops-Core though ... aesthetically speaking that is :)
Is the S&S Manta worth that huge pricetag ?

Honestly, its not worth the price tag. No. But it is rather nice.
I have the opscore too, both are nice, but with the ventilation on this thing, it makes me wonder if I even need the bump any more.
As for the fit, it fits very much on the small side.

oh well nice! :x mighty shows up, with his fancy pics and fancy gear and fancy talk and Oooooo

LOL, J'K....

heres my half ass review for those who missed it viewtopic.php?f=16&t=6863

i think there are pretty slick and very high speed. i think the are like the lambo of strobes, where the ms2000 is the honda. the vip is like the volvo....

they all get the job done, but the manta is sexier, smoother, and just fit and function is superb!

the vip is nice, and has its own coolness. whereas the ms2000 gets the job done, and anyone can afford one....

for the money, if you have it, then yes its well worth it. for a geardo on a budget, money might be better spent.... but if you are willing to spend $100 on an AOR1 single grenade pouch...then no excuse to not have a manta!
