Rite-in-the-Rain. Only the most tier one, tactical operator's notepad for me.

Works as advertised; It's compact with just enough room for the essentials. Streamlined to be unobtrusive while sitting or in unorthodox positions. And it's easily accessible with a quick pull from either side to put the contents wherever you need them.

I was looking for a low profile blow out kit and this seemed to be the best solution because, well that's what it's called. Only changes I would make would be to add some loop velcro on the side sections for bloodtapes and such. I've seen this mod done by others and will probably do so as well. Those same sections would also be a perfect place for some elastic tourniquet retention bands. Though I'm not so sure how to accomplish that addition myself.

I decided to try something new. Was bored.

It feels somewhat practical, but I haven't gotten to try it out outside the comforts of this room yet. Really not sure if I like it.

I second the comments on the MF LVBOK. I've been using one for about a year now and I really like it. I carry it on my belt and can drop kit as needed and still have my BOK on me. I like that is sits in the small of the back and is accessible with either hand. The contents we carry fit just fine.
