How does that work for you?

jack - really well. I've used the belt pretty heavily, with the 1.5" UBL installed there's no belt shift, at all. It's like a triglide. Not sure where Seifer is coming from, but I know multiple dudes who run them with no issue.

Updated the belt kit. Re-learned some old lessons that I had forgotten and decided to adapt some other things.

Looking at armored belt solutions, but the only one I can find that I like is the TYR version of the Brokos belt.

Setup:
First Spear Assaulter's Gun Belt (replaced the less-rigid Eagle rigger belt)
Velocity Systems Utility Belt (love this!)
2x AWS copies of the TYR Pistol Combat-Adjustable Happy Mag (was 2x Crye pistol mag pouches - I prefer the faster draw of the open-tops)
Tyr Single Open-Top Rifle Happy Mag (was an Eagle FB pouch. This is lighter and I fight it less to draw a mag)
AWS copy of the Mayflower Low-Vis Blow-Out Kit (had trouble drawing from the LBT 9022 I had before. This is much easier to work with and opens up to a mini workbench of medical supplies as needed, with almost the same profile when on the belt. Plus, it's easier to pull out and the insert can slide into a cargo pocket if I'm not wearing the belt)
Safariland Beretta holster on a drop-down UBL (an old stand-by. Really the only holster brand I'll ever use going forward for regular carry)

Replaced the VelSys belt a while ago for an armored solution. Swapped the Crye buckle for an ITW GTCobra:

Also finished up the patrolling kit a while ago, just added the buttpack a few days ago:
Image

FirstSpear patrolling suspenders w/ LBT belt (don't mind the carabiner, that's to hang it on my rack)
Eagle FB mag pouch with a modified USGI grenade pouch (for compass)
TAG Double
HGG -152
Custom SFLCS-clone buttpack
Eagle SFLCS canteen (modified), holds Nalgene
TAG Double

Taking the belt kit out for a few days, we'll see how it works.

You should post details on the modified pouches. That shit always intrigues me.

Kit looks super functional.

Nothing too crazy - the frag pouch has a 550 cord loop sewn on the inside of the flap to tie a compass off to, and some elastic loops to hold batteries behind the compass. I can also use it for a straight frag pouch if I need to. The GI lift-the-dot fastener was replaced by an ITW buckle combo for better security like the Eagle or FirstSpear frag pouches.

The Eagle pouch had the webbing replaced, a 550 cord tiedown loop, and a heavy duty 1/4" shock cord drawstring to replace the existing 1/8" one - it helps hold the Nalgene bottle better if I don't want to snap the webbing.

Thanks! We'll see how it works out. Don't need to wear armor so I can actually get it adjusted right.

No medical gear? Or is it in the buttpack?
Beltkits are awesome.

Buttpack, next to the commo pouch. I've got a rolled up insert.

I am fielding a very similar setup based on the First spear harness kit. It works great with armor (BALCS) underneath but I wasn't too pleased when I ran it standalone.
