Bayonets generally need to be a bit brittle, as if you stick it into something and you can't pull it out you can break it off using some moderate amount of force so as not to leave you with you weapon system stuck into something during a high stress situation.

By the way, all the spanish bayonets i've seen (personally and in pictures) have the handle and the sheath green.

Mine does not have the mold mark on the handle, I guess it's a newer batch. The screw on the back is still there.
And my sheath has a piece of webbing on the top so that you attach to the gen issued belt.

I have no idea how a blade like that would be useful for anything other than stabbing people, but holy balls... It looks fucking amazing!

haha well I just love the look of Japanese Tanto and Katana as well as Damascus steel.
I wanted something look a like but still some how useful as a heavy duty bushcraft and combat fancy knife.

one of my new "purchases".
a spyderco persistence i got for christmas by my godfather.
havent used it for more the opening some gifts, but it has tasted blood as it comes out-of-the-box quite sharp :oops: something i wasnt used to :lol:
