Not so much a suggestion as a question, GEARSOC, as in Gear Special Operations Command?
I also want to commend you guys on trying to keep this site free from airsoft-specific information, but as it stands there appears to be many airsofters on here, and it gets confusing sometimes trying to understand a users frame of reference when he/she comments on gear.
I saw some thread about some setup where the user said that the pictured gear was for his Direct Action rig, complete with a picture of his 1911. I somehow doubt that he is part of some secret Swedish outfit which conducts DA missions and issues it's soldiers 1911s.
I guess what I'm trying to say is, perhaps some sort of guideline should be instated where the poster should try to mention in his post that this setup and that weapon is for pretend war. Or maybe I just have some sand in my vagina..
Third, the introdutions-thread. As I said earlier, I reckon that the majority of the patrons here are airsofters. Nothing wrong with that, and nothing wrong with trying to keep airsoft out of the discussion here, but if people play airsoft and thats what they use the gear for, why are they not allowed to say that they play airsoft? This goes hand in hand with my second point, if people introduce themselves as airsofters and write in their profile that they like to play, it helps us all in seeing other posters frame of reference when it comes to subject matters.
Just my .50 SEK
Ps, Liking the site so far. Thanks.
