I think the set costume designers hit a home run with the look for the Texas Rangers in the TV show Revolution. Post-apocalyptic Texas Rangers impressions anyone?

Wow! They're looking so military! Nice.

BTW, I don't know if you know the backdrop of Revolution, but it takes place 15 years after all electricity on the planet goes away. The world has devolved into an eclectic mix of 18th-19th Century pre-electricity way of life, with hints of the modern era lingering where it has been able to be preserved.

I just think the Walker Texas Ranger with khaki MOLLE plate carrier look, looks kinda cool. :)

I like it to, have always been a fan of the post ragnarok type of films and tvshows!

BTW is this the show on netflix? I found one called revolution on my US netflix account.

Yes, it's on Netflix, but the Texas Rangers don't show up until Season 2.

Is it the Texas Rangers that get a fee every year to buy "western" clothing, Stetsons etc.

At least they more or less look the part, kinda scruffy and hard. I hate it how in so many post-apocalyptic shows in general and Revolution in particular everyone's hair looks like they've just stepped out of the salon even though they're supposed to have been sleeping rough.

Yeah that, and their cloth they wear looks like it was sewn just yesterday.
