I placed my order at sabre-shop.de. Everything went very smooth and they are most helpful along the way, even on the phone.
This is one of the best Smocks Ive tested or have seen so far! Very well sewn and it has a pocket for almost any type of gear. :P
Its ripstop and you can make it fit very comfortable. My team mate has the "Sabre Special Forces Smock" and its almost the same but less pockets and not so "big" in size. the Sniper version is a bit larger in size for some extra room when working on the field.
The SF version is almost the same smock but has also less "extras" that has been designed for the sharpshooter.

Would be a more interesting review if i actually understood the copy-pasted part. How about writing a feature list in english since this is an english speaking board?
That goes for both reviews btw.

Off the record: I hope my translation is understandable, if something isn't clear don't hesitate to ask. ;)

Buying one of these good smocks from Germany and I want to check about
the size that I´ve heard should be very large.
I need long sleeves (ca 66 cm) and I´m 187 cm tall.
Will the size L be enough for me?

L might fit, but I'd go with XL. I wore L myself (1,80 meters "tall")

Awesome peace of gear gents we get them issued and I love mine. I think the German Manufacturer Köhler will bring them out in Multicam soon.

I have had the Sabre sniper smock now for one summer and autumn season and
the size L was enough for me (1,87 cm). Arms are long and the smock is sized big overall.
It´s a wonderful piece of gear in every detail as everyone says but
one thing though. The smock is very WARM! :?

Did u had the ripstop or cotton version? U recognize that the smock got zippers for ventilation on the upperarms right?
So I have the ripstop version and in summer time i just wear a t-shirt as base layer and it works perfekt for me, but honestly when i become 30°C out there it´s hot in it, no question but u will have the same issue with the regular bluses or tops.

Hallo snakedoc03
I have the ripstop smock "48% aus Polyester sowie 48% Baumwolle"
I use the ventilation but it is still warm to me when moving during hunting.
I use a combatshirt underneath because I like to have something
on my arms under the smock, but of course it would be cooler with
just a t-shirt or a long arm first layer shirt.
Winter comes in Lappland now so the problem will solv by it self :)

Yes yes yes :D
I just got me a Snugpack "Sleeka Original" jacket and it is just
perfect under or over the smock when resting or standing still.
Putting it underneath is good to protect the Sleeka from
sparks from the camp fire. Those jackets melt like butter...
