NO tunnel quoting or quoting the post directly before yours.

Are you referring to molle rigs? Been there done that, and over it. I've been emailing back and forth with Lucas at TAG all day talking specifics about changes I want made, many I didn't list in my previous post and he's been extremely helpful. He did say that all their buckles are ITW.

I think he means why not get the 1961 G (zippered front, closed top pouches, bigger GP pouches) , or the Eagle MPCR ( Eagles version of the 1961G) none of them all MOLLE, just sewn on like the TAG rig. Those rigs come in at $300 or so..

Stewartb109 is correct.

Looking at PaleRider's list of mods made me think of these;

Eagle.

LBT.

I've looked at both rigs, and like the idea of covered ammo pouches. However, on both the suggested rigs the flaps look too short (I'd end up cutting the straps and buckles off most likely, too time consuming and a pain with gloves on) Both just seem to have too many buckles and straps, I had some HSGI pouches that had buckles and am just not a fan. Thanks for the suggestions though, i really appreciate new options. I haven't bought a rig in a few years and am getting caught up on some new stuff and learning about some old stuff I never knew existed.

What Im trying to say is, wouldnt it be easier to mod the ammo pouches on the LBT or eagle rig instead of modding almost everything on the TAG one?
