I have opened up the standard ptts that came with my MSA Sordin and the one that came with the davies swimmer headset. The odd thing is the davies ptt cable is not waterproofed in the ptt housing and it also has a capacitor and resistor wired up inside. The 4 MSA ptt cables have all been epoxied up inside and I do not see any capacitors or resistors. Does anyone have a explanation of why this is or has anything different. Also the Icom ptt is different on the inside but I was expecting to see that. It is also not waterproofed on the inside.

I have a question to ask,

I have a Peltor ComTac v1 on my helmet, so I also have the Peltor PTT on my vest.
The ComTacs are connected with the PTT with the "standard" NATO-plug (nexus 174).

But I'm not looking to always wear my ComTac's, but swap it out with something simple "Acoustic Tube Earpiece".
Problem is, I can't seem to find a simple earpiece with the NATO plug.
Does anyone in here have a option/solution/advice for me?
Because I'm not looking to swap my PTT every time.. and I like the Peltor PTT a lot.
