Hi guys!
Someone maybe know if Invisio M3 (TP120 connector) works well with MSA U94 Icom 2pin PTT?
I'm asking because i read somewhere that maybe this ptt will not work because it is suited for dynamic mic but Invisio has an electronic mic.
So... it is useful only with Sordin and Comtac headsets.
Probably the same problem there is with Davies TASC and other headsets with electronic mic.
Let me know!
Thanks!

I use a M4 with a MSA U94 Motorla 2 Pin PTT and that works.
I guess it should work with icom, too.

It's just a norman PTT with a straight cable. I had one with a coiled cable, this worded too, but I didn't like the coiled telephone style cable.

In my experience Invisio does not need amplification.

Main problem for me is: invisio works well with an amplified ptt built for peltor or sordin?

It would work ok with a non-amplified ptt.

I am familiar with the M3 single sided in-ear headset. It has an "electret" type bone microphone. It doesn't need amplification for most radios but if your PTT was made for a MSA Sordin or Peltor Comtac with dynamic microphone the PTT probably won't be wired correctly to power the M3 with the DC volts that an electret microphone needs to work.

Hi guys,
Sorry to dig up a old topic. But I could use some help on the Invisio M3 as well.

I'm trying out a M3 on a Kenwood TK3200 serie radio. And I have tried multiple PTT's.
A genuine Peltor PTT and a replica of the Silynx (Z Tactical).
On both the PTT's the incoming audio is very soft almost not possible to pic it up, and it does not matter if I put my radio on full-volume.
Same with transmitting audio, it works and you can hear the voice being transmitted. But also very softly.

Any ideas what I could try to make this work? Would a "Amplify Nexus U94/A" possibly work better?
