Hi Folks,
i got combat pants gen 1 with kneepads but due loosing 17 kg i just can wear right now with a belt. Im eyeing a gen 3 pants. Now my question is if the gen 1 pads is wearable with a gen 3 pants?

It might be a close fit (got to check that with a friend who still has those 1st gen pads). However I just can't see why you might want to use those rather than the much more flexible gen3 ones?

As Jack said, the Airflex pads are much better.

If you just don't want to spend the money on new pads, you'll be happy than Gen1 pads are considered "collector" items by some people: you'd most definitely be able to resell them for at least the same price as new Airflex pads.
