What is a reasonable body armor?

I know, that best option is SPEAR BALCS, but hard to find and hard to pay in size small. Second very reasonable option is Interceptor Body Amor.

But we can see other BAs on the photos. Mainly black, mabe some OD.

What is that? ABA? PT?

Thanks

There was AWS PBPV, AWS Direct Action Trauma vest, Safariland carrier (woodland/desert camo, lots of velcro), black low pro carriers from different brands (ABA, Safariland, PACA....), PT carriers, old Paraclete DA RAVs....

Don't forget brands like TG Faust that aren't as well known.

My first trip was in 03. I was issued a SPEAR BA, but most of my team went out and purchased Blackhawk Plate Carriers and threw some ammo pouches, MBITR pouch, a grenade or two and an IFAK. We only wore them in the gun trucks. Most of the time we were dismounted and we used the big Blackhawk Chest Rigs. My how times have changed. On another note, my JPC is wore out, know where I can get one?

Not to be a smartass, but cryeprecision.com? OPTactical usually carries them too.

Yeah, good luck with that. Up to a 12-16 week wait. I'll keep searching.

Ah, fuck that. There's a couple for inflated prices on eBay ($279).

*edit - you could always ask LBT to mod up a slick 6094 to add a kangaroo pouch and get a Crye AVS cummerbund for it. Would probably end up cheaper anyhow, LBT's custom shop isn't a ripoff.
